Ok, so my dad is retired so yesterday I took him my project 85 vette to cruise around in until it goes to get painted. He has been driving my 1991 Buick Roadmaster for 2 years and kept her in great shape. She is a 1991 Roadmaster Estate with 305 TBI and a B&M 2500 torque converter. What should I do next? Vortec 5.7, nitrous, or a 4.8 LS swap? I need opinions here

Cold A/C, JVC head unit, and all new 9C1 suspension

If everything works why mess with it?

Who am I kidding?

That 305 could be stroked to 334ci, add a set of Vortec heads and you get some decent, reliable performance on the cheap.

Though a stone stock LSx might be the best route.

I had a ‘92 in burgundy with the wood paneling and the TBI 350. Absolutely loved it, but it was nickel-and-diming me to death, so when the transmission quit at 180k, I had to let it go. Still miss it.

I’m liking the LT1 idea. I owned a b-body SS for almost 9 years. It was my dream car when I brought. NIASSO forums is where I use to get all my info. Those guys have literally done it all when it comes to b-bodies. There might even be a club in your area. If your into that. They have a good following.

Coyote + TR6060 and we’re talking.

Admittedly though, that combination really belongs in a Ford Flex thats been dropped a hair on some better suspension.

Nickel and dime are what the parts cost for this beast. I want to go 5.3 truck LS, but I don’t want to lose my stock gauges. This old 305 runs so smooth and still has perfect compression. I might throw an LT1 cam in and see if it wakes up
